About us

A ministry of freedom

Christ Ransom Power International Ministry exists to proclaim that Jesus Christ paid the ransom for every soul. Our emblem tells our story: hands lifted in worship, chains broken, the Holy Spirit descending, and the open Bible as our foundation — for Africa and the nations.

Our mission

  • Preaching and teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
  • Leading people to salvation through faith in Jesus Christ.
  • Making disciples and developing spiritually mature believers.
  • Promoting prayer, worship, holiness, and biblical living.
  • Equipping ministers and church workers for effective Kingdom service.
  • Supporting missions and evangelistic activities.
  • Providing spiritual, emotional, educational, and humanitarian support where possible.
  • Raising leaders who demonstrate character, competence, humility, and accountability.
  • Establishing and supporting churches, ministries, fellowships, and mission outreaches.
  • Using music, media, technology, conferences, crusades, seminars, counselling, and other lawful means to spread the Gospel.
  • To help the less privileged and the needy.

Our vision

To raise a generation of Christ-centred believers who are spiritually mature, morally upright, purpose-driven, and equipped to influence their communities and the world for the Kingdom of God.

Our motto

Go for Christ

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.”

Matthew 28:19-20

Evangelist Dr. Amos Misalai Usehunya, founder of Christ Ransom Power International Ministry

Our founder

Evangelist Dr. Amos Misalai Usehunya

He leads Christ Ransom Power International Ministry — preaching and teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and leading people to salvation through faith in Him.

His journey

A life of faith and service

Evangelist Dr. Amos Misalai Usehunya was raised in a Christian home. His parents, the late Mr. Misalai Akuki and the late Sa’ada Misalai, were among the first Christian converts in the Karmo Oguwa community. He was baptized and married at Emmanuel Anglican Church, Karmo-Oguwa.

In 2002, while attending the Fellowship of Christian Students (FCS) at the College of Education, Akwanga, he became born again through a message by Evangelist Okereke. He served in the fellowship as a witness team leader and Sunday school teacher.

Reflecting on trials and rejection along his journey, he credits God’s faithfulness and the encouragement of the Holy Spirit for helping him persevere. His counsel is to love all, respect everyone, remain humble and keep away from sin.
